Drivers and the IAP //

The Intelligent Access Program (IAP) represents a new way of managing heavy vehicle access and compliance.

Your employer may have enrolled the vehicle you are driving in the IAP. Once a vehicle is enrolled in the  IAP, it is fitted with an in-vehicle unit (IVU) and is monitored for compliance by an IAP Service Provider using telematics services.

As a transport operator, your employer will most likely have joined the IAP because it may provide them with improved access to the Australian road network.
