The cost of being monitored under the IAP is negotiated by the transport operator with their chosen IAP Service Provider.

IAP Service Providers are charged a fee by TCA for providing IAP services. Details of these fees are set out in the IAP Service Provider pricing schedule.

Because the IAP is a voluntary program, transport operators are able to make a commercial decision regarding the benefits the IAP can offer their business.
