About TCA //
Transport Certification Australia Limited (TCA) was established in August 2005 by its Members, the road transport authorities of the State, Territory and Commonwealth governments, in recognition of an ever-growing transport challenge facing Australia.
TCA’s Members recognised the need to better manage the Australian road freight transport task with the introduction of a new reform called the Intelligent Access Program (IAP).
The role of TCA is to implement and administer all aspects of the IAP, including policy and legislation, and to certify and audit IAP Service Providers.
Only IAP Service Providers certified by TCA can supply IAP services to transport operators.
Certification is the process by which TCA determines whether a company seeking to be an IAP Service Provider meets the probity, financial, functional and technical standards of the program.
